18-Day Signature Western Cape Journey
An inspiring example of what your South African journey could look like — personally tailored around your interests, pace and travel dates.
Day 1 - Arrive Cape Town
Day 9-11
Day 1, welcome to Cape Town. You're met on arrival to transfer to your V&A Waterfront hotel. Settle in, look around. No rush.
Day 9 to 11, Stellenbosch with a walking town tour, a day on the Vine Hopper followed by a slower day to absorb it all.
Day 2 is your private Peninsula Tour with Michele, our exceptional tour guide. Just your party, coast to coast, penguins, Cape Point, Chapman's Peak. It's all flexible.
Day 2 - Peninsula Tour
On day 12, it's Babylonstoren, then on to Franschhoek. Days 13 and 14, wine tram, food. Pace yourself.
Day 12 - 14
Day 3 - Robben Island
Day 15
Day 3, Robben Island plus some free time to explore the V&A Waterfront
Day 15, back to Cape Town, but this time Sea Point.
Day 4 - 5
Then day 4 and 5, safari time in Aquila.
Day 16, private city day with Michele, our tour guide. Day 17, gentle waterfront day.
Day 16 - 17
Day 6-8
Day 6 to 8, Hermanus, ocean time, maybe whales, maybe lazy lunches.
Day 18
And day 18, Blouberg for that last iconic view. Farewell lunch, one more sunset. We'll shape it around you.
Day 1 - Arrive Cape Town
Welcome to Cape Town. You’ll be met on arrival and transferred to your hotel at the V&A Waterfront. Settle in, explore a little and enjoy your first evening at your own pace.
Day 2 - Private Cape Peninsula Tour
A full day exploring the Cape Peninsula with your private guide. Discover colourful coastal villages, meet the penguins at Boulders Beach, explore Cape Point and return along spectacular Chapman’s Peak Drive. Stop when you like, linger when somewhere catches your eye — the day is yours.
Day 3 - Robben Island and V&A Waterfront
Take the ferry to Robben Island for a fascinating insight into South Africa’s history. Afterwards, enjoy the V&A Waterfront at your own pace — browse the shops, stop for lunch or simply watch the harbour go by.
Day 4-5 Safari Escape
Leave the city behind for a safari experience at Aquila Private Game Reserve. Head out in search of the Big Five, enjoy the spectacular Karoo landscape and slow the pace with time to relax at the lodge.
Day 5 -7 Into the Stellenbosch Winelands
Leave the safari behind and head into the Cape Winelands, settling in Stellenbosch at your beautiful Winelands stay. So many wine farms, where will you begin.....Perhaps with a relaxed tasting or a wonderful dinner.
12-Day Cape & Winelands Journey
A shorter South African escape with all the ingredients that make the Cape so special — spectacular coastline, wildlife, wonderful food and wine, with time built in to simply enjoy being there.
Day 7-8 Franshhoek
Two days to explore this charming town. The Wine Tram will take you on an adventure your never knew existed. Exceptonal restaurants - this is food and wine heaven.
Day 8 - Atlantic Seaboard
Return to Cape Town and Sea Point is your new destination, with the Atlantic Ocean on your doorstep. Take a stroll along the promenade, enjoy the neighbourhood or head out for a relaxed seafood dinner as the sun goes down.
Day 9 - Private City Tour
Discover Cape Town with your private guide. Explore colourful Bo-Kaap, head up Table Mountain if the weather allows, then shape the rest of the day around you — perhaps Kirstenbosch, Groot Constantia or more time exploring the city. No rushing and no fixed formula.
Day 10- V&A Waterfront
Your hotel in the V&A Waterfront awaits for the final part of your stay. Spend the day exploring at your own pace — browse the shops and local markets, enjoy a leisurely lunch or take to the water for a harbour cruise. The evening is yours to enjoy.
Day 11 - Bloubergstrand
Spend your final full day enjoying Cape Town at a slower pace. Head out to Bloubergstrand for that iconic view across the bay to Table Mountain, linger over lunch by the sea, then return to the Waterfront for one last evening and a special farewell dinner.
Day 12 - Until next time
Enjoy a final breakfast and perhaps one last wander before your private transfer to the airport. Leave Cape Town with wonderful memories — and, hopefully, already thinking about when you might return.
